Is the IDF changing its approach towards the Haredi? After all previous attempts to recruit young Haredi people were declared a failure, in recent months the IDF has begun extensive headquarters work, at the end of which it was decided to change its approach towards Haredi society.

According to a report by Yinon Shalom Yatach on the i24 channel, the project has spawned a new campaign, which will be launched in the coming days - and at its center: close and direct dialogue with the Haredi Malshav, the use of Haredi media figures and opinion leaders, and the adaptation of content that talks about the Haredi tracks through dedicated platforms.

According to the report, the army's new message to the ultra-Orthodox: "We are not your enemies, you have a place - and we want to explain.".

However, IDF officials are skeptical, following the publication of the campaign: "They think that if we are nice to them, they will come in droves. This is a mistake. Those who didn't come when we forced them to come, won't come now either.".

According to a report on the 'Latkhila' channel, those behind the change in approach are a number of Haredi businessmen, who are expected to invest huge sums in the move.
