Former Justice Minister Haim Ramon is attacking Naftali Bennett, following a tweet he published in which he accused Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of a policy that allows Qatar to fund Hamas.

Bennett wrote: "Qatar, which is a cruel enemy of the State of Israel... its hands are stained with rivers of Jewish blood... Qatar is the main financier of Hamas, of its military buildup, of the terror tunnels and of the Nuhbas who carried out the 7/10 massacre.".

Ramon noted that he agreed with the content of the remarks, but claimed that Bennett himself was a full partner in implementing that policy. "I suddenly remembered that he was a cabinet member and even defense minister in Netanyahu's governments, and a central partner in promoting the policy of financing Hamas through Qatari funds," he wrote.

""And when Bennett was prime minister, he allowed Qatar to continue transferring funds to strengthen Hamas, build tunnels, and finance the Nuhbas who carried out the October 7 massacre.".

Ramon added, taking a swipe at Bennett: "The defense minister in his government even thanked Qatar for transferring funds and aid to the Gaza Strip and explained how it plays a 'positive role in the region' - and Prime Minister Bennett did not tweet a word at the time about Qatar being a cruel enemy of Israel, whose hands are stained with Jewish blood, and that the funds it transfers to the Gaza Strip are used to strengthen Hamas's military might.".

""After all, what can be expected from someone who committed the biggest political fraud in the history of the State of Israel, if not to continue to mislead the Israeli public? But Bennett forgets that Google remembers everything, and that nothing will clear him of supporting the transfer of Qatari funds and the policy of containing Hamas over the years.".
