An investigator at Lahav 433 summoned MK Tali Gottlieb for questioning at the police today (Tuesday), but she announced that she did not intend to appear. Gottlieb replied to the investigator: "I would advise you to stop contacting me, as I do not intend to appear. To the great regret of Miarah and Ronen Bar, I cannot be detained or arrested. Their attempt to intimidate me will not succeed. For your convenience, I am sending you Aviad Glickman's (News 13's trial reporter) cell phone, and you are invited to 'copy and paste' it exclusively." On her Twitter account, she wrote: "A Lahav investigator politely summoned me for questioning on January 13, and even allowed me to change the date if it was inconvenient for me. I advised her to stop contacting me, as I do not intend to appear. For convenience, I sent her Aviad Glickman's cell phone so that it would be easy for her to 'copy and paste' to my message." The other day, it was reported that after MK Gottlieb announced her refusal to appear for questioning with a warning, the prosecutor's office contacted her with an unusual letter in which it clarified that she must appear at the police station on a date to be determined. The letter stated that Gottlieb's parliamentary immunity does not give her protection from police investigations. In response, MK Gottlieb replied: "I know this saddens you, so let's assume that I committed an offense and that I have immunity, since I acted using my immunity for the sake of fulfilling my duties and within the framework of fulfilling my duties. And by the way, I will continue to act exactly like this. I see you all the time, be careful.".
