A two-month-old baby did not wake up from his sleep in his home in the Batey Ungrin neighborhood in Jerusalem this afternoon. Rescue forces, who were called to the scene following a report of an unconscious baby, performed CPR on the baby - and then he was taken to a hospital, while undergoing CPR, in critical condition. Ariel Drey, a United Hatzalah medic: "We were told by family members that the toddler lost consciousness while sleeping. We performed CPR on him and then he was taken in critical condition to Hadassah Mount Scopus Hospital, while undergoing CPR. United Hatzalah resilience teams were on scene due to the nature of the incident." 'Rescue Team' volunteers Nachman Philip, Moti Reichman and Shaul Gabay: "When we arrived at the scene, we saw a baby about two months old with no pulse and no breathing after, according to his family, he had not woken up from his sleep. "Together with other MDA medics and paramedics, we immediately began performing advanced CPR on him, including heart massage, ventilations and administering electric shock. And we evacuated him with an MDA ambulance that we had for connection with an MDA intensive care unit, which evacuated him while continuing CPR to the shock room at Hadassah Mount Scopus Hospital in the city." Prayed for the baby Meir Yehuda Ben Hanna's full recovery.
