Following intelligence information, Givati ​​forces located an underground shaft in the Jabaliya area where a terrorist cell was entrenched - which was eliminated. During the battle against the cell, three fighters from the 460th Brigade Combat Team were killed - Major (res.) Netanel Hershkowitz, Sergeant (res.) Zvi Matityahu Marantz, and Sergeant (res.) Uri Moshe Bornstein. The shaft is located near an underground route, where fighters from the Yahyalam unit operated and investigated. The shaft, about half a kilometer long and dozens of meters deep, contained living quarters and passages. The route, the shaft, and all the findings were destroyed by the unit's fighters. "We entered the area here and found the shaft here," says the Givati ​​patrol commander. "During the scans, you can see the shaft here. Right at the end of the shaft was the Kalashnikov rifle found here, inside the shaft at the entrance was a bag with several cartridges and ammunition. "You can see the shaft more closely here, it's a deep shaft that goes about twenty meters into the ground.".
