For many weeks now, I have been conducting a quiet dialogue with the coalition leaders on the issue. Officially, everyone seemingly agrees with me. In practice, they are stalling the process. They are hounding me for weeks on end. They schedule a coalition leaders meeting and cancel it time and time again. Until they meet - they are texting without a decision. I quietly gave more and more warnings and statements, I gave more and more chances, but the smearing as a method does not end. After yesterday the coalition leaders smeared and did not decide, a follow-up meeting was scheduled for today. Since this morning I have been sending reminders On the subject, because they leaked to me that they intended to cancel the meeting of the coalition leaders, as unfortunately it really happened. Even after that, I still quietly sent warnings, but they smeared me again. When I set an ultimatum to raise the issue at the next government meeting, I was informed that everyone agreed, but "Bezalel Smotrich is vetoing." I have no intention nor energy to get into Smotrich's ego and jealousy, I am not a psychologist. The bottom line that is important to know is: at 7:00 PM tonight, a compromise text was ready to raise the issue at the next government meeting, all the faction leaders agreed on it, only Smotrich refused. The concept is not only about security; it is time for the right-wing government to realize that if it does not send the Ombudsman home - the Ombudsman will send the right-wing government home! Unfortunately, I am once again the only one standing at the gate against the concept, which is not mistaken in its imagination, and sees the situation correctly. We have no choice left. I I repeat now: If there is an official agreement to raise the issue on Sunday at the upcoming government meeting, the crisis is behind us. If the briefings by coalition officials that there is an agreement on the matter are correct, go ahead, why don't you issue an official statement on the matter?
