After MK Gilad Kariv's visit: The Prison Service conducted an invasive search of the defendants in the shooting of floodlights at Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's home in Caesarea. According to a report in Kan News, after Karib visited the four defendants last Thursday, a search was conducted at the end of the visit on suspicion that the MK had passed something to them during the meeting. According to the report, Karib underwent a check of his tools and a magnetometer before entering, out of fear that something had been passed to them. Karib said in response: "This is a deliberate thwarting of the ability to carry out parliamentary oversight of the conditions of detention, and further evidence that defining the detainees as security prisoners severely violates their rights." The Haifa District Court held a hearing on the request of the lawyers of Brigadier General (retd.) Ofer Doron, his son Gal Doron, Itay Yaffe and Amir Sade for their release as an alternative to detention, after it was extended until today. The defendants' lawyer also asked the court to order the Prison Service to give the defendants the conditions they deserve, while the four are detained in the Russian Compound. The details of the hearing on Thursday revealed that the order previously issued to allow them to have conversations with family members was not complied with. The four were charged in the indictment with committing a reckless and negligent act of terrorism.
