The forces of the 401st Brigade Combat Team continue fighting in the Jabalia area, as part of the 162nd Division's operation. In this week's operation, a Hamas terrorist was located and documented attempting to launch rockets toward Israel from a building located near a weapons depot, where other terrorists were holed up. In a quick closing of the circle between the forces and the brigade's firepower, the terrorists were eliminated and the weapons and rocket depot was destroyed. The forces are operating in a built-up, dense and complex area, destroying terrorist infrastructure and neutralizing numerous explosive devices.
