The chairman of the 'Democrats' party, Yair Golan, addressed the incident of firing flare bombs at the Prime Minister's house in Caesarea in an interview with Reshet B this morning (Thursday) - and refused to condemn the perpetrators. According to him, the bombing incident is nothing more than media spin from the Prime Minister's Office. "This is a stupid act of pranking, but there was no violence here, so there is nothing to condemn here. The Prime Minister's attempt to describe it as if there was a threat to his life - there is no truth here." He explained: "There was also no implicit threat, in the style of Ben Gvir and the Sergeant in 1995. Therefore, there is nothing to compare the things to. There is supposedly equality between this terrible government and the brains - there is no equality between them and there is nothing legitimate here. This is a government that is crushing Israeli democracy and unnecessarily dragging on a war." Yesterday, the court allowed the publication of the names of three of the suspects: Brigadier General (res.) Ofer Doron, Amir Sade and Itai Yaffe. The detainees are considered prominent protest activists.
