The left is already shouting that this is incitement: Noam Party activists placed a huge sign on a bridge on the Ayalon Highway this morning (Monday), featuring a picture of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Legal Advisor to the Prime Minister, Gali Baharav Meyara, with the caption: "His blood (God forbid) is on your hands." The party explained that the sign was hung as part of a protest against the Attorney General's lack of action to prevent incitement and anarchy on the streets of Israel against the Prime Minister. The protest comes after the firing of flares at the Prime Minister's home in Caesarea on Saturday night. Noam activists claim that the shooting is a direct result of the incompetence of the legal system, and especially of the legal advisor, who they say is not acting sufficiently to prevent the increasing incitement and violence. Party chairman Deputy Minister Avi Maoz: "Anarchy on the streets has been raging for more than a year, and the Attorney General is only encouraging the situation with her statement that there is no effective protest without disturbances. If, God forbid, something happens to the Netanyahu family, the blood will be on her hands." The party added: "This action is a clear call - we can no longer remain silent. The Attorney General, along with senior figures in the legal system, is playing an active role in the fight to overthrow the government. This is an attempted quiet coup, and we are here to expose the truth. "The firing of flares at the Prime Minister's house not only constitutes a physical threat, but is a direct result of a dangerous atmosphere that those who are supposed to stop it choose not to fight. Those who allow anarchy and incitement to run rampant - bear responsibility." The Noam Party's move comes after ministers attacked the Prime Minister's Legal Advisor yesterday. Yesterday, Communications Minister Shlomo Kari called for the Attorney General to be fired in a post he published, stating: "Get up and kill yourself - even with your own acquiescence and tacit consent - hurry up and fire him.".
