The popular Twitter account "Israel-ישראל", operated by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, published a thread of posts this evening (Sunday) containing approximately 14,900 missile emojis.

At first, many thought it was a cyberattack on the account, which has 1.7 million followers, when thousands of emojis appeared in an endless sequence.

However, it soon became clear that this was part of a deliberate campaign designed to illustrate the intensity and scope of the shooting that Israeli residents have been experiencing since October 7.

The account operators explained: "Over 14,900 rockets. Each rocket emoji represents one rocket fired by Hezbollah at Israeli civilians since the October 2023 uprising."

The account operators added that due to the length of the number of missiles, "it will take you a long time to scroll."

They later wrote: "Keep scrolling (throughout the post) - every rocket has an address and is designed to kill. Remember that. What would you do if the address (of the missiles) was yours?"
