Responsible for the deaths of many Israelis: Commander of Nasser's missile system eliminated

An Air Force fighter jet, in cooperation with the Northern Command, today (Saturday) in the Joya area in southern Lebanon eliminated the terrorist Ja'far Khatchar Fa'ur, commander of the missile and rocket division of the 'Nasser' unit in the terrorist organization Hezbollah. According to a statement from the IDF spokesman, the commander of the unit's drone portfolio was also eliminated in the attack. Fa'ur was a key figure in the opening of the campaign in the north, when he was responsible for firing orders from the eastern sector in Lebanon. He gave the first firing order towards Israel on October 8, 2023, and since then has promoted numerous terrorist orders against the Israeli home front and IDF forces. The deadly attacks promoted by Faur:  • Rocket fire into the Golan Heights that resulted in the deaths of Noa and Nir Burns, parents of three from Kibbutz Ortal. The couple were traveling on Highway 91 in the Golan Heights and were killed by a direct hit from a Hezbollah missile in their vehicle. • Responsible for the rocket fire into the soccer field in Majdal Shams, in which 12 children and teenagers were killed and dozens of civilians were injured. • Shooting into Metula last Thursday, which resulted in the death of farmer Omar Weinstein, father of four, and four other workers from Thailand: Kawisak Papanang, Akaphon Wanasay, Tana Tijjantek and Phrayat Filatram. Faur led the missile and rocket array of the 'Nasser' unit in southern Lebanon, and under his command many attacks were carried out on northern communities. He was responsible for planning and executing missile and rocket attacks, with the eastern sector under his command being a focus of the fire. Ongoing towards Israel since the beginning of the war.
