Media personality Yinon Magal, host of the "Patriots" program on Channel 14, said today (Monday) on his program that the conscription law scandal is a political campaign - the goal of which is to completely overthrow the right-wing government. This was when Tzipi Brand, former deputy mayor of Tel Aviv, who was a guest on the program, said: "How can it be that we ask for the approval of the Haredim in order to enlist, and with us it is forced?" Yinon Magal responded firmly: "Everything is political in order to overthrow the government. Today, whoever doesn't want to, doesn't serve." Yinon claimed that conscription into the army is a right and pride and that it doesn't matter whether others enlist or not. "I don't make excuses for anyone why they don't enlist. I respect the Haredim who study," he said.
