It ended too quickly: The new Hebrew-language account of Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei was suspended from Twitter last night (Monday) - for violating the rules of use. Before the suspension, Khamenei had managed to post two tweets in Hebrew. The first tweet read: "In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious and the Most Merciful." In the second tweet he posted today, he sent a threat to Israel: "The Zionist regime made a mistake, and miscalculated regarding Iran. We will make it understand what strength, ability, initiative and will the Iranian nation has." Khamenei opened the account a few hours after the Israeli attack on Iranian soil. Khamenei's Hebrew account followed only one account - Khamenei's account in English.

Israeli surfers were not slow, of course, to respond with sarcastic comments. But tonight, as mentioned, the celebration is over. .
