A 10-year-old boy was seriously injured as a result of a fall from a height on Saturday afternoon on Shimon HaTzadik Street in Elad. Volunteer paramedics from the Elad branch of United Hatzalah provided him with initial medical treatment, and he was taken to Linson Hospital in Petah Tikva for medical treatment, where he is sedated and on a ventilator. The medical center said: "The boy is on a ventilator and suffers from multi-system injuries." Moshe Saadon, head of the United Hatzalah branch in Elad, said at the end of Shabbat: "Passers-by told the paramedics that the child, who was playing with his friends on the roof of a trailer used as a synagogue, fell from a height. When I arrived at the scene, I saw that the child had suffered serious head injuries. After initial medical treatment that we provided him at the scene, he was evacuated in an MDA intensive care unit to continue receiving medical treatment at the hospital, where his condition is described as serious." The circumstances of the incident are being investigated. The United Hatzalah organization once again calls on parents and adults to prevent children and teenagers from climbing or playing in places where there is a risk of falling from a height. Please pray for Uriah Ben Shoshana for a complete recovery.
