National Security Advisor and head of the National Security Council, Tzachi Hanegbi, updated this evening (Monday) that he successfully underwent a medical procedure yesterday that required hospitalization.
He noted that the diagnosis in this matter was made several weeks ago.
Throughout part of the period, he was hospitalized intermittently for treatment and monitoring.
Under the direction of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Deputy Chairman of the National Security Council Gil Reich conducted meetings and consultations that the Chairman of the National Security Council was prevented from participating in.
Hanegbi is expected to be released home soon and return to full function after his recovery.
