The lawsuit filed by the cousin has been pending in court for more than two years. According to Bar-Or's report, Alon's request through his lawyer Zohar Landa alleged that Shabtai allegedly introduced Mirashvili to Aryeh Deri in the 1990s and through him "established contacts with rabbis and key figures in the Haredi community."
