מאמן נבחרת ישראל, אלי גוטמן, העניק ראיון מיוחד לתוכנית הספורט של ישראל ב-102FM בשיתוף אתר ONE ובו דיבר, בין היתר, על ההתקרבות לדת. כאשר נשאל האם שחקן המשחק בנבחרת יפתח במשחק הצפוי לנבחרת ישראל מול נבחרת בוסניה, השיב גוטמן: ""God willing, as long as he stays healthy and stays in shape, then why not?"" Have you repented to me? ""Ah... I'm on my way.". What does this mean? ""My personal affairs are less interesting. I'm a much more religious person, but what does that have to do with the issue now?"" Because every second word you say is with God's help.. "כן, הכל אצלי בעזרת השם".
