Mourn: Elder of the Kabbalists Rabbi Shalom Aharon Shmueli zt"l passes away at the age of 106

The Arameans conquered the cliffs and captured the Ark of the Covenant:  At the Shaarei Tzedek Medical Center in Jerusalem, the elder of the Kabbalists, Rabbi Shalom Shmueli, zt"l, head of the Kabbalist yeshiva "Neher Shalom", father of the Kabbalist Rabbi Benyahu Shmueli, died on Saturday morning, at the age of 106. The deceased zt"l was a student of the Kabbalist Rabbi Mordechai Sharabi zt"l, from whom he learned the teachings of Kabbalah. He was a shoemaker on Agrippa Street, and during his work he was diligent in his Talmud studies - and many saw him as a hidden righteous man. His wife, Mrs. Shulamit Rachel, daughter of the late Rabbi Nehemiah Mizrahi, passed away in the month of Elul 5779. He was blessed and raised a generation of righteous people blessed with Torah and fear and pure worship of God, headed by his son, the Kabbalist Rabbi Benyahu Shmueli, head of the 'Neher Shalom' Yeshiva in the Mahane Yehuda neighborhood. His funeral procession will leave this evening, Saturday night: the eulogies will begin at 11:00 PM at the Porat Yosef Geula Yeshiva in Jerusalem - and then it will continue to the Beit HaChaim in Sanhedrin.
