Fighters from Unit 33 (The Gideons) in the Israel Police, in cooperation with IDF forces and under the direction of the Shin Bet, attempted to arrest two terrorists from the Islamic Jihad organization in the Qalqilya area. During the arrest, fire was opened on our forces, who returned fire and killed the terrorists. Pistols were seized from the two. One of the terrorists who was eliminated was planning to carry out an attack in the area. The Palestinians report that the two killed in the incident belong to the Al-Aqsa Martyrs' Brigades, and their names are Ihab Abu Hamed and Ahmed a-Salmi.
