National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir's tweet against US President Joe Biden caused a stir this morning (Thursday) - and now former Israeli national team goalkeeper and Sports Channel commentator Dudu Avat is also joining in.
Avat, who is known for his right-wing political views and frequent activity on social media, launched an attack against the minister: "A minister who is supposed to protect the citizens of Israel is endangering all the citizens of Israel. It's time for the Prime Minister of Israel to arrest the child who looks big and developed but behaves like a stupid, irresponsible baby.".
He added: "People don't understand how serious and irresponsible Ben Gvir's tweet is. It's not like Biden isn't stabbing us in the back. He is stabbing us in a big way. We are allowed to say anything, but...
"Such an idiotic tweet from a 'senior minister', however right he may be, only reminds the Jewish Democratic donors who love Israel but are less enthusiastic about the current government why we are ungrateful!!!"'

In a tweet, Ben Gvir attacked President Biden's threat that he would not supply bombs and shells to Israel if it launched a large-scale operation in Rafah - and wrote that Hamas loves Biden: "Hamas ❤️Biden.".
