Is there a war? Crowds of Gazans are spending time on the beach of Deir al-Balah • Watch

Is there even a war in the Gaza Strip? A documentary published today (Wednesday) shows crowds of Gazans taking advantage of the heat and going out to have fun all along the coast of Deir al-Balah, all while the world is hearing cries that the residents of Gaza are suffering from a "severe monetary crisis." Deir al-Balah, as part of the central camp area, along with Rafah, are currently the only places in the Strip where the IDF has not yet begun ground maneuvers, and there are still Hamas battalions operating there. Thus, while residents of the encirclement have been kept away from their homes for six months, people in Gaza are spending time on the beach.
