Shai Golden, the host of Channel 14's morning show, shared with his 54,000 followers on his Facebook account his intention to stop using social media, due to the toxic criticism and arrows he receives every day - and locked his profile. According to him, "The gap between what I go through and experience on social media and what I go through and experience on the street is about the difference between hell and heaven. Between a curse and a blessing. Between a desert and an oasis. Between poison and a cure." The conclusion, according to Golden, is to "stay away from social media." According to him, "I tried to get going. I was wrong. I'm going back to my shell. I'll settle for dialogue with real people and not with toxic trolls." The host added: "Forgive me, but I don't have the strength for these piles of poison. There's enough difficulty and sadness and shit in the real world. There's no need to consume and get dirty with virtual poison either. It's disgusting and depressing and really weakens me." Shai Golden has been hosting the channel's morning show since moving to Channel 14. Since then, he has recorded, alongside other presenters, fine achievements and a jump in ratings.
