Victory for Uriel Bosso: The petition against his candidacy for mayor of Bnei Brak was rejected

שר הבריאות אוריאל בוסו, המתמודד מטעם מפלגת ש”ס על ראשות העיר בני ברק, נחל היום (רביעי) ניצחון, לאחר שהשופט קובי ורדי מבית משפט המחוזי בתל אביב קבע, כי העתירה שהוגשה נגד מועמדותו - "נדחית על הסף". השופט אמר בדיון: "החוק קבע מועדים ברורים - הייתם צריכים לעתור לפני כחודשיים. המשמעות של זה בעייתית, כי אם אפסוק עכשיו לפסול אותו - אז יומיים לפני הבחירות ש"ס תישאר ללא מועמד? ללא קמפיין? רוצים - תעתרו אחרי שייבחר".

The administrative petition against Bosso's run for mayor of Bnei Brak on behalf of Shas was filed on Sunday by Attorney Moshe Lippel, a resident of the city of Bnei Brak, through Attorney Zvi Sachs.

The petition claims that Bosso did not actually move his residence to Bnei Brak, and that the center of his life is in his home in Petah Tikva.

In his response to the court, Bosso asked to dismiss the petition filed against his run, partly because the regent "enacted severe delay" and filed the petition right before the elections.
