Ben Caspit: Netanyahu ate two meals at non-kosher restaurants

ראש הממשלה בנימין נתניהו לא מתרשם, כנראה, מהמחאה של פוליטיקאים חרדים בעקבות הארוחה הפרטית שסעד בחברת  המיליארדר שלדון אדלסון במסעדה לא כשרה במנהטן. לפי דיווח של העיתונאי בן כספית ב'מעריב השבוע', בהמשך אותו יום בו סעד נתניהו עם אדלסון ב'מסעדת החזירים', הוא ישב בראש ארוחה חגיגית של תורמים, מיליארדרים יהודיים, מקורבים ובני משפחה במסעדת פירות ים, ש"החרדים יוכלו בקלות לכנותה מסעדת השרצים". This is one of the most prestigious and expensive restaurants in the New York area: the chart house - located on the pier on the riverbank and overlooking all of Manhattan. The restaurant is defined as a seafood restaurant, and most of the menu served there contains various seafood such as crabs, calamari, and shrimp. According to the report, the event was also attended by official representatives of the State of Israel, such as the Israeli Ambassador to Washington, Ron Dermer, and his wife, and the Chief of Staff in the Prime Minister's Office, Ari Haro, who is observant.  Netanyahu, for his part, rejected criticism last night about his decision to have lunch at a non-kosher restaurant in New York, in the company of gambling tycoon Sheldon Adelson. ראש הממשלה נשאל על ידי העיתונאית לילך ויסמן מ'גלובס': אדלסון הוא בבחינת סדין אדום מבחינת ממשל אובמה - האם אינך חושב שפגישה עמו היה צריך לקיים בנסיעה פרטית, ולא ממלכתית? נתניהו השיב: "זו היתה פגישה פרטית עם מכר ותיק". הוא לא הוסיף אף מילה בסוגיה זו. קודם לכן, סרבו דובריו להתייחס לנושא. כזכור, העיתון 'ניו יורק פוסט' חשף כי נתניהו, אדלסון ואנשים נוספים סעדו במסעדת Fresco By Scotto במנהטן, ביום שני, וכי ראש הממשלה הזמין צלעות עגל - מנה שאינה כשרה, מפני שהוכנה במסעדה בלתי כשרה.
