The conversation took place during an offensive operation from a combat helicopter, in which Major General Bar participated in directing forces from the 98th Division and the 55th Brigade of the Land Arm.

The helicopter attacked a terrorist infrastructure from which shots were fired, causing the death of Maj. Gen. (res.) Gideon Ilani, a fighter in Battalion 2855 of the "Spearhead" formation.
Fighters from the 55th Brigade Combat Team have been fighting for over a week in Khan Yunis, raiding terrorist targets and fighting Hamas terrorists.
Brigadier General Goldfuss thanked the Air Force Commander on the communications network for the close cooperation during the fighting.
