IDF, Shin Bet and Border Police forces arrested 15 wanted individuals across Judea and Samaria last night (Sunday) - six of them terrorists from the Hamas terror organization.
As part of a joint operation by the Shin Bet, IDF, and Border Guard in the village of Burka, undercover agents eliminated the terrorist Natzer Saif, 34, a resident of the village of Burka, who had been imprisoned for 17 years for involvement in terrorist activity.
Three additional terrorists were also arrested.
These are terrorists belonging to a terrorist cell responsible for several attacks in the area, including an IED attack that injured an IDF soldier on October 23.
During the arrest, the terrorist, who converted to Christianity, Sif tried to escape with an explosive device in his hand - and was eliminated by the forces.
Additional explosive devices found in his vehicle and on the roof of his house were destroyed by the forces. The fighters also confiscated two 'Carlo' type weapons that were in the squad's possession.
During the forces' activity in the city of Hebron, the fighters located a lathe and confiscated four machines for producing weapons.
During an engineering operation to thwart terrorism in the city of Jenin, terrorists fired at the forces, who responded with fire - and killed a terrorist.
At the end of the operation and as the forces were leaving, the forces arrested a suspected terrorist and found three improvised explosive devices ready for use in his possession.
So far, about 1,570 wanted individuals have been arrested across the Judea and Samaria Division and the Valley and Valleys Division since the beginning of the war. About 950 of them are associated with the terrorist organization Hamas.
