A Jerusalem resident in his 20s was arrested last Friday by the police on suspicion of involvement in several cases of disorderly conduct, causing damage to property, and endangering human life.

The suspect disrupted order during a protest, resisted and obstructed his arrest, and even refused to be questioned for his actions.

This is a suspect for whom an arrest warrant was issued by the court, as part of an investigation into his involvement in cases in which he is suspected of damaging property, disturbing the peace, and trespassing.

Among the suspicions attributed to him is an incident of causing damage to several buses with pictures of women on them that were traveling on Yehezkel Street in Jerusalem - when their tires were punctured during the protest.

Upon his arrest, the suspect was transferred for questioning at the Lev HaBira police station.

At the end of Shabbat, he was brought before the court, which granted the police request and extended the suspect's detention by three days - until Monday, in order to continue the necessary investigative activities in his case.

The police investigation is ongoing.
