The shutdown was due to a malfunction in the signaling system that manages communication with drivers and trains. The Dankel company announced that until further notice, there will be no service on the Red Line of the train from Petah Tikva to Bat Yam.

Due to a fault in the electrical network, last night, a fault occurred in the signaling system that is responsible for the movement of the trains.
