Upon his arrival at the scene, at approximately 02:56, he located the grave plot, and taped his letter to the bottom of the marble tombstone. The defendant did so with the aim that the contents of the letter would reach the Prime Minister. In the prosecutor's request for detention until the end of the proceedings against the defendant, the prosecutor's office emphasized the seriousness of the defendant's actions, and noted that "his actions were carried out after prior, meticulous and calculated planning, in a manner that could harm the public and the foundations of the democratic regime.".
