We were surprised and just froze in place. Our neighbors are very nice, I had no idea why someone would shoot at our neighbors like that during the day. "We went downstairs and saw a 'beautiful rainbow' that wasn't anywhere else. What we realized afterwards was that the shooting was a 'mistake of identification.' That's what the police said." Meklit: "I know the shooting was carried out from a vehicle. It's a shocking story. No one should have to go through this. This is not a normal reality of life. The police may know who the shooter is, but they didn't tell us that. They probably caught the shooters, but that doesn't take anything back.".
