The arrest was made after Ramla police officers, with the assistance of Shephela Yasm fighters, opened an investigation last night, upon receiving a complaint of suspected fraud using a stolen credit card, when the suspect purchased bottles of alcohol worth thousands of shekels. In preparation for the mission, Yasm unit officers posed as couriers and coordinated a meeting with the suspect, a Ramla resident in his twenties, to deliver the shipment of bottles of alcohol. Upon his arrival at the meeting place in Ramla, they arrested him - and after an investigation, he was imprisoned. The police intend to bring him to a hearing today at the Rishon Lezion Magistrate's Court, with a request to extend his detention in accordance with the needs of the investigation.
