Concern in the Torah world over the health condition of Maran Rosh HaYeshiva Rabbi Edelstein, who has been hospitalized since Shavuot night in the intensive care unit at the 'Ma'eni Hayeshua' Medical Center in Bnei Brak.
As of tonight (Monday), there is no improvement in his condition.

The elders of Israel published a joint letter tonight - which states: "And do not take your holy spirit from him."
As the Maran Rosh Yeshiva Rabbi Yerachmiel Gershon ben Miriam Edelstein shlita, who is in need of many, is in sorrow, and we are in need of many heavenly mercies, and Chazal already said of a learned scholar who is sick that he should take care of himself.
"We must increase our prayers and supplications, and add strength in studying the Torah and morality, and strengthen ourselves with good virtues for his complete recovery, so that he may return to his former strength."
This evening, all yeshivot and kollel halls stopped at the end of Seder B and tens of thousands participated in the "prayer of many" for the recovery of Maran Rabbi Yerachmiel Gershon ben Miriam. Yeshivot heads and supervisors delivered words of encouragement.
A 'prayer of many' was also held this evening at the Western Wall Plaza in Jerusalem, led by his son-in-law, Rabbi Itamar Garbuz, Rosh Yeshiva 'Erchot Torah'.
A 'prayer of many' was also held at midnight in Zion by the Chazon Ish and the Grand Rabbi Kanievsky.

Tonight, at the Knesset of the Torah scroll in the city of Beitar Ilit, attended by the Gersham Amar, the Gershom Bo'aron, the Gera Topik Rabbi of Beitar, the Gera Afgin, Rosh Yeshiva Beit Halevi, and the Gera Cohen, Rosh Yeshiva Nezr Talmud - Arakh Rabbi of Jerusalem, upon completion of the writing of the letters, a special prayer was offered, after reciting the Psalms together with the great men of Israel, for the complete recovery of the Maran Rosh Yeshiva.
In his words, the rabbi of Jerusalem blessed: "By the grace of the Torah scroll and these holy days and the prayers of many of all Israel who pray for his recovery, God, the Blessed, will heal him and return him to us soon."
Chief Rabbi Harav Lau, who is currently making a quick visit to the Jewish communities in France, held a special prayer for the recovery of the Maran Rosh HaYeshiva, together with members of the Jewish community in the city of Sarcelles.
The Rishon LeZion, Rabbi Yosef, published a special letter in which he wrote: "Since the health condition of the elder head of the yeshivot, Rabbi Yerachmiel Gershon ben Miriam Edelstein, shlita, is deteriorating and he needs the mercy of God. We must pray, study, and tear down the gates of heaven for his complete recovery."
