MK Tali Gottlieb said this evening (Monday) that her autistic daughter Oriya's routine was disrupted after she heard the noise made by left-wing activists who had come to demonstrate outside their home against the legal reform to strengthen democracy. In a conversation with 'Israel Hayom' reporter Yehuda Schlesinger, Gottlieb said that Oriya heard the noises outside the door, became stressed, and her routine was disrupted. As a result, during the day she 'hurt herself, twice.' Schlesinger shared the conversation with Gottlieb on his Twitter account - and wrote: "Shame on you, you miserable anarchists. Shame on you." Matanel Gottlieb, the MK's son, also reacted sharply to the demonstration that took place outside his mother's home in the morning. "Anarchy, madness, and above all, scary. Tomorrow it will be much more violent, and you know what? I have no problem with you demonstrating in front of houses, but show humanity.
"It seems that these days everything has become legitimate, even if it includes a low-functioning autistic girl who got out of control and immediately hurt herself to the sound of the door slamming and the protesters cursing, and one mother who begs them not to yell at the girl, she is autistic, while one of them tells her, 'Put music on for her at home,' and adds, 'Find someone to take her to a setting, you're not leaving here.'" After trying to maintain humanity, Gottlieb added: "Have you seen an autistic child? Have you seen someone who is not related to the situation and reacts strangely? Get out of there." Gottlieb's son shared his attitude towards him due to being his mother's son: "Not long ago I met an amazing artist (no names) and when I said I was Tali Gottlieb's son, her face filled with disgust, and yet we connected in an unusual way, and created a project together. In general, a lot of creators and producers who are not politically identified with the Likud to say the least, love me and I love them, because I (and they) completely separate myself from my family life. Rightly so. "But as for my sister? I will do unthinkable things to protect her, and I will pay heavy prices so that she will never feel fear or hurt herself because of her inability to understand this. Remember this well, and take it wherever you want.".
