In contrast, notable price declines were recorded in clothing and footwear, which fell by 4.9%, in fresh vegetables, which fell by 1.9%, and in culture, which fell by 1.6%.
Apartment prices continue to rise, albeit at a slower pace: in the past 12 months, the housing price index rose by 17.1% (after 18.8% in the previous month). New apartment prices fell by 0.6% in November-December.Divided into districts, in the months of November–December 2022 compared to October–November of the same year, the following price changes were found: Jerusalem (1.4%), North (0.1%), Haifa (0.6%), Center (0.0%), Tel Aviv (0.2%-) and South (0.1%).
Comparing the transaction prices of new apartments carried out in the months of November-December 2022 compared to October-November 2022, it was found that prices decreased by 0.6%, and comparing the transactions carried out in the current period compared to the corresponding period last year (November-December 2022, compared to November-December 2021), it was found that the prices of new apartments increased by 20.6%.
