The Attorney General's Office is expected to file an indictment in the coming days against three suspects, in their 20s, residents of East Jerusalem, on suspicion of walking around with a dog in the center of the capital and violently robbing, threatening and assaulting, a number of passersby on several different occasions.

About ten days ago, the police received a report of several robberies that occurred in a short period of time in central Jerusalem. First, the suspects attacked a victim, stole his cell phone, as well as his coat, and fled the scene. Later, the suspects attacked a disabled man, stole the crutches he was in possession of and his money. They fled the scene, while attacking another victim with the stolen crutches - and from whom they stole his electric scooter. One of the victims was injured in his hand and is being taken for medical treatment.

With the guidance and assistance of the control center observers, the police officers from the Lev Habira station quickly arrived at the scene, identified the suspects - and they were arrested.

During their arrest, the suspects attempted to pet their dog in order to discourage the officers from completing the arrest.

The court decided to extend their detention from time to time, and as mentioned, the suspects' detention was extended by 4 additional days until tomorrow - and an indictment is expected against them.

At the same time, the phone and coat stolen from one of the victims were returned to their owners.
