Business owners? Grow on it: You too deserve to grow to number one

Over the next few days, the lottery process will continue for 6,471 apartments in the 57 projects, spread across 13 localities across the country - including: Jerusalem, Ashdod, Haifa, Yehud-Monson, Ramla, Kadima Tzoran, Ofakim, Sderot, Nahariya, Nof HaGalil, Elkana, Karnei Shomron, and Emmanuel.

The fourth round of 'Apartment at a Discount' opened for registration on 12/28/22 and closed on 1/8/23. Approximately 90,000 households registered for this lottery and approximately one million registrations were made (each eligible person was allowed to register for up to three localities and for all lotteries in these localities).

The new winners will join approximately 21,000 households who have already won the opportunity to purchase an apartment at a significant discount in the 'Apartment at a Discount' lottery last year.

The lottery process is conducted in accordance with strict and meticulous procedures, in a computerized system, without human contact, managed by a committee and supervised by a certified CPA, and the results are calculated in a closed lottery room, in the presence of the lottery committee, which supervises, checks, and signs the lottery results.

The lottery committee consists of the lottery chairman, a representative from a supervising company, a marketing representative, an accounting representative, and a legal representative.

Yitzhak Goldknopf, Minister of Construction and Housing: "Since the day I entered the Ministry of Construction and Housing, we have been working to find and formulate a variety of solutions for affordable housing. In light of the data presented to me, and those published last night, I have instructed the director general of the ministry and the head of the Housing and Housing Authority to prepare a staff report that will present a work plan that will maintain the pace of marketing and construction starts, with the aim of bringing prices down as soon as possible. The lotteries are part of a series of steps that we at the Ministry of Construction and Housing are taking for young couples and the homeless as an opportunity to purchase a roof, as part of the deep commitment that the state has to assist Israeli citizens in purchasing an apartment."

Yehuda Morgenstern, Director General of the Ministry of Construction and Housing: "On this day, I would like to congratulate the cooperation between the employees of the Ministry of Construction and Housing and the employees of the Israel Land Authority, thanks to whose joint work thousands of eligible people have been and will be able to purchase a roof. These days, we are in the midst of hard work in cooperation with the relevant parties, to build a work plan that will set goals that will bring about change for the benefit of young couples and Israeli citizens. I believe and am confident that the coming year will be a turning point for them. The ministry will continue to operate on additional levels in order to respond to the demands on the ground."

Yaakov Quint, Director of the Housing Authority: "This morning begins the "fourth round of lotteries," at the end of which more than 6,400 families who do not own an apartment will be able to purchase an apartment at a significant discount in one of 57 residential projects participating in the program across the country. We at the Authority wish success to all those who register and see this as an expression of confidence in the government's efforts, which will undoubtedly soon make their mark on the housing market. The Authority will continue to increase the supply, produce residential solutions in 2023 as well, and of course will continue its vigorous efforts to find diverse solutions for allocating land for the needs of the economy."
