About 200 resident doctors from 22 different departments from hospitals across the country submitted letters of resignation at noon (Thursday). Want to know if your details are correct on the voter register? You'll find the answer here. Dr. Ray Bitton, chairwoman of the 'Prescription' organization, said at a press conference: "People are leaving because they are feeling bad and the price is unbearable, the situation is unbearable. There are other, more sane options." According to her, a total of about 600 interns and trainees have signed resignation letters, but in the first stage they will carry out a graduated resignation process and only about 200 interns resigned today. According to the threat, dismissal letters will be submitted every week on Thursday at 2:00 PM. Biton pointed an accusing finger at the Ministry of Health: "You are single-handedly bringing about the most serious crisis in the health system. We hope that the Israeli government will wake up before the resignation takes effect. Now transfer the 66 million shekels to staff positions not only to the periphery but also to hospitals in the center, as you promised, in order to add positions for resident doctors and shorten shifts by 26 hours. Do it now, not after the elections. We all hope that you will stop this injustice." Representatives of the residents announced that they will not continue to work without shortening shifts. Dr. Biton: "There are hospitals that refused to accept the resignation letters, but the threats against us no longer scare us. We have nothing to lose - we embarked on this fight to win it, and there is only one choice: shorten the residents' shifts.". These are the departments:  Ichilov - Internal Medicine - A, C, D, E, H, I. Assuta - Internal Medicine A, B, Pediatrics, Mallard, Neurology. Barzilai - women. Beilinson - From the R.D., internal sixth. Wolfson - women. Hadassah Ein Kerem - women. Rambam - Children's first and second grade, boarding school second and eighth grade.
