Otzma Yehudit Party Chairman MK Itamar Ben-Gvir presented an agreement this morning (Wednesday) to run together with the Religious Zionist Party, signed it - and called on Bezalel Smotrich to sign alongside him as well. According to the agreement, the Religious Zionist and Otzma Yehudit parties will run on a united and equal list, and under joint leadership. Smotrich will be placed in first place, Ben-Gvir in second place, and the other members of the list will be placed equally thereafter. The parties will conduct joint negotiations with the Noam Party, with the aim of joining the party to the union. So far in the negotiations between the parties, Smotrich has agreed to give Ben-Gvir four places in the top ten. MK Ben-Gvir said: "About a week ago, we set out on an independent path after we realized that Bezalel does not want unity and wants to turn to the soft right, and we received tremendous support outside." Ben Gvir added: "Despite this, and as I promised - if Bezalel comes to his senses and wants an equal union - my door is open. There is no need for more pointless negotiations and no need for white smoke. I signed an agreement for an equal running this morning. Bezalel, I call on you to sign today, and we can celebrate unity tonight." Last night, Ben Gvir told 'Kan Al-Hila': "We have exhausted the negotiations. If there is no agreement on equality and reciprocity, there will be no joint running. Religious Zionism has chosen a list of members that will not bring votes.".
