Tragedy in Jerusalem: A 40-year-old woman in advanced pregnancy, and her two daughters, ages 2 and 7, were killed this evening (Friday night) after a bus line 402 that had left Bnei Brak skidded on Shamgar Street near the Rav Shefa Mall - and ran over people standing near the store. Rescue forces provided medical treatment and evacuated 6 injured people to Shaare Zedek and Hadassah Ein Kerem hospitals - including: a young woman about 21 years old in serious condition, two moderately injured - including a boy about 6 years old, and three lightly injured - including a boy about 4 years old and a baby about 1 year old. Hadassah Medical Center reported: 7 victims of the bus accident on Shamgar Street were evacuated to the trauma unit at Hadassah Ein Kerem. Two were evacuated to the emergency room at Hadassah Mount Scopus. All in mild condition: 20-year-old woman in her 20th week of pregnancy - suffering from anxiety, 25-year-old man, 18-year-old girl - suffering from anxiety, 26-year-old woman, 9-month-old baby, 1-year-old baby, and 4-year-old child. On Mount Scopus, a 49-year-old and a 20-year-old woman - in mild condition.
MDA paramedics Netanel Lipshitz and Bar Ezer said: "This is a shocking accident. Under the back of the bus we saw a woman about 30 years old and a toddler about 3 years old lying unconscious, with serious injuries. We performed medical examinations. They showed no signs of life and within a short time we were forced to declare them dead. "A girl about 7 years old was trapped under the bus and could not be reached. She was unconscious and after the bus was lifted, she was pulled out with no signs of life and we were forced to declare her dead. "On the sidewalk near the back of the bus, a young woman about 21 years old was lying fully conscious. She suffered serious injuries to her limbs. We provided her with life-saving medical treatment and urgently evacuated her to Shaare Zedek Hospital in a serious and unstable condition. "In addition, we evacuated 2 injured people - a 6-year-old boy in moderate condition with head, stomach and limb injuries and a 47-year-old woman in mild condition with limb injuries. We evacuated a 24-year-old woman, a 4-year-old boy and a 1-year-old baby in mild condition with head and limb injuries to Hadassah Hospital." MDA emergency medical paramedic Pnina Goldreich, who was at the scene of the accident in Jerusalem when it happened, said: "I was in my store in the lobby of a nearby building and heard a loud noise and shattering glass. I ran outside and saw a bus that had crashed into the station. I immediately noticed a 2-year-old baby and a 30-year-old woman lying next to each other near the rear wheel of the bus.
