MK Miki Zohar of the Likud estimated today (Monday) that his party will reach a record number of voters in the upcoming elections.

Regarding the Haredi statements that Blue and White Chairman Benny Gantz will be the first prime minister in the rotation, Zohar said in an interview with Yinon Magal and Ben Caspi on 103FM radio: "They are making a mistake with this statement. They are harming their chances of being in the next coalition. The Haredi have a glass ceiling of 16 seats, only the Likud can bring the seats to complete a coalition to 61." Zohar added: "They are preventing us from doing it by reporting that Gantz will be prime minister. I tell you that Benny Gantz will not be prime minister, and I will also tell you what the Haredi will do - like good children, they will sit with us in the coalition." Senior sources in Torah Judaism and Shas made it clear last night that if Benjamin Netanyahu does not achieve a majority of 61 in the upcoming elections, they will propose a rotation with Blue and White in which Benny Gantz will be first. Channel 12 reported that the goal of those elements is to pressure Netanyahu, when the chances of a no-confidence vote and an alternative government in this Knesset are not high. The Haredim cannot afford another round in the opposition, when no one seriously thinks about sitting with Lapid and Lieberman. In the event that Netanyahu's bloc does not achieve 61, the Haredim will come to Benny Gantz and offer him to head the government together with the right-wing bloc, perhaps excluding Ben Gvir. Benjamin Netanyahu will be the alternative prime minister, with or without rotation.
