Media person disparages: Likud elected officials have low intelligence level

Media personality Gadi Suknik was a guest on the Reshet 13 morning show and praised the candidates of the Yesh Atid party, whom Yair Lapid nominates - while disparaging the Likud MKs who are elected in the primaries.

He later said of the Likud: "Check the body that elects them, say the Likud center. It is full of interests, infected with all the evils of the world, and the elected are accordingly. I try to say this as an objective citizen, they are at a much lower level than the elected members of Yesh Atid. This is a low level of intelligence, culture, discourse." At this point, the interviewer asked: "Are the Likud MKs less intelligent than those of Yesh Atid?" In response, Suknik said: "The average, check the people." The interviewer: "How can you check?" Suknik replied: "The whole tradition of screaming and violence in the Knesset, check who has been doing this for years. Yesh Atid has a higher level, they do much more for the public. In this sense, Lapid is doing a good job." The leader of the opposition and chairman of the Likud, MK Benjamin Netanyahu, attacked: "The arrogant and outrageous statement of Gadi Suknik, who belittles the intelligence of Likud voters, joins the incitement of Yair Lapid and elements on the left against Likud voters for years. Likud voters are smart and sharp, Zionists and patriots with hearts of gold. This racism crosses all boundaries. I expect Gadi Suknik to apologize for his words immediately." MK Nir Barkat responded: "Gadi Suknik, shame on you! Likud is the only major democratic party in Israel. Likud elected officials are among the best and most diligent in the Knesset. I am proud to be a Likudnik and proud to be part of a winning team that faithfully represents the people of Israel. The days when we would move on to the agenda of racism are over!" MK Kati Sheetrit responded: ""Garbuz, Kotler, Soknik "And the rest of the racists and arrogant, Likud voters are arrogant about your arrogance and despise you. And thank you for adding mandates to us.". MK Orly Levy Abekasis: "Gadi Suknik and his blunt style are proof that racism can be presented in a beautiful and 'civilized' way, but arrogant, detached and utterly shocking. Suknik, don't even bother to apologize. We're tired of the routine that is known in advance. The people will have their say." Media person Inbal Ratz-Glimor responded: "Lovely.
