According to him, continuing the interrogation immediately endangers the detainee's life: "This description reminds us of dark and distant places and it turns out that they are here among us. "We demand that the investigation by the Shin Bet investigators be ordered to stop immediately! It is clear that this conduct has broad implications and consequences, but now, in light of a real concern for the life and health of our client, there is no escape from stopping the investigation. We also demand that an investigator on your behalf immediately go to the facility and collect our client's testimony." Meanwhile, the chairwoman of the Knesset Health Committee, MK Idit Silman, will hold an urgent committee discussion this morning on the subject of "examining the physical and mental health of detainees being interrogated by the Shin Bet's Jewish Division" - following the publications regarding his medical condition, which was interrogated by the Shin Bet, as well as reports of the harsh interrogations and torture inflicted on him.
