Asher Gold against Eichler: "His words testify to his moral level""

התקפותיו הנחרצות של ח"כ ישראל אייכלר מיהדות התורה כנגד שר החינוך הרב ד"ר שי פירון נמשכות, כשמנגד יועץ השר אשר גולד מבצע בח"כ החרדי סיכול ממוקד. העילה להתגוששות הפעם: צו המניעה שהוציא היום (שלישי) אחר הצהרים בית משפט השלום בירושלים לבקשת הפרקליטות, האוסר על בית הספר החרדי 'משכנות דעת' להשתמש ב'כיתות המריבה' שבתוך שטח בית הספר החילוני 'שפה ותרבויות' בבית שמש, כמו גם הודעת מנכ"לית משרד החינוך מיכל כהן לעיריית בית שמש, כי המשרד הוציא צו סגירה לאגף בו אוכלס בית הספר החרדי, וכי הצו יכנס לתוקפו בתוך 30 יום. In an interview with the radio station 'Kol Berama', the MK attacked Belza and said: "Education Minister Piron is a hyperactive arsonist who lights fires against the Haredim in Beit Shemesh and everywhere else in the country.".

Asher Gold, advisor to the Minister of Education, was quick to respond: "Knesset Member Eichler's words about the Minister of Education are not worthy of being said by a Knesset member, and certainly not by an MK who is observant of Torah and mitzvot. More than they hurt the Minister of Education, they testify to Eichler's limited world of concepts and his moral level.".

""The decision regarding the school in Beit Shemesh, painful as it may be, was made by the professional echelon of the Ministry of Education, due to a violation of the law and not due to special intervention by the Minister of Education, as evidenced by the court's decision from last night.".

This is already a second-round battle between Education Minister Advisor Asher Gold and MK Israel Eichler.

Last Thursday, Eichler attacked the Minister of Education on the issue of after-school care, saying: "Israel's children must be saved from the claws of predators, in the malicious government, who have not given up on their war on the ultra-Orthodox. The rulers of Gaza have already been forced to agree to a ceasefire against Israeli children in the south of the country. But the Lapid and Piron government continues the war against the Jewish child studying Torah and his ultra-Orthodox parents, without mercy.".

""If the Ministry of Education succeeds in its plan to rob the poor of their daily hot meal from the children of the poor, who need it the most, it should ensure that all after-school budgets are removed from the Ministry of Education and returned to the Ministry of Employment, as in the past.".
