This morning: Alerts in Tel Aviv and Haifa during Home Front Command exercise

As part of the General Staff exercise "Chariots of Fire" and in order to practice the civilian and military space for an emergency, several exercises will be held this coming week for various scenarios, including: rocket fire and the leakage of hazardous materials. The dates on which the sirens and the Home Front Command app will be activated: • At 10:05, an alert will be activated for rocket and missile fire in Tel Aviv - city center. • At 10:15, an alert will be activated for rocket and missile fire in Tel Aviv - south of the city and Jaffa. • At 10:25, an alert will be activated for rocket and missile fire in Tel Aviv - east. • At 10:35, an alert will be activated for rocket and missile fire in Tel Aviv - across the Yarkon. • At 12:05, an alert will be activated for rocket and missile fire in Haifa - Neve Sha'anan and Neot Carmel. Wednesday (Wednesday) May 18: • At 09:05, an alert will be activated for rocket and missile firing at the Haifa oil refineries. • At 10:05, an alert will be activated for a "hazardous materials incident" in Tirat Carmel. The alerts will be sounded as part of the General Staff exercise "Chariots of Fire," in order to practice the emergency response system and refine home front instructions.
