In preparation for the celebration of Rabbi Shimon Bar-Yohai in Meron, the Information Center is launching a campaign that presents the ways to get to this year's celebration, while emphasizing the obligation to purchase a ticket in advance for each participant and at any age - the types of tickets available and the methods of purchase. The travel ticket constitutes a permit to stay on the Mount, with each ticket allowing a stay in the celebration complex for up to 4 hours and according to the time specified on the ticket. The campaign, which is published in a variety of written, broadcast and digital media, states that for the benefit of those coming to the celebration, there are 3 types of tickets: for public transportation, for private transportation (such as organized buses of communities), and for those coming by private vehicle. The first option - traveling by public transportation - will be done according to your choice, by public transportation from the departure centers, with the travel ticket being a permit to stay on Mount Meron. Another option is traveling by private transportation companies and private buses for up to 50 passengers. Choosing this travel ticket allows entry to the "Kahal" bus parking lot and from there continue the trip by shuttle to the settlement of Meron. A third option is to arrive by private car, with the pre-purchased travel ticket being for the trip to the celebration complex via a shuttle ride from the parking lot. Those arriving by private car park in the "Elifelet" parking lot and from there continue by shuttle using a pre-purchased private ticket, and when entering the parking lot you will be required to present the entrance tickets according to the number of passengers in the car. The return home will be done via three terminals. According to the announcement, Terminal 1 is intended for public transportation, and will be located in the Prood parking lot, with access to it being via shuttles and from there to various destinations throughout the country. Terminal 1A is intended for those arriving in private cars, with shuttles returning them to the private cars waiting in the Elifelet parking lot. This terminal is also intended for those arriving by private transportation, to which they will return via shuttles from the terminal to the "Kahal" parking lot. In addition, the return to Safed will be made directly from Terminal 2 and the return to Tiberias will be made directly from the northern end of Terminal 1. • A special transportation system will be operated by "Ezer Mitzion" from the Safsofeh parking lot and will be available to disabled people who use wheelchairs. Transportation can be ordered upon arrival at the location only, by calling 073-24-777-24. • Tickets can be purchased through the Tickchak website, the Galatikt website, or at Meron.tickchak.co.il. Tickets can also be purchased at the "Nederim Plus" stations located in synagogues throughout the country. The information center reiterates: Any entry to Mount Meron at any age is conditional on purchasing a ticket in advance! The return trip is conditional on presenting the ticket. The advertisement reminds immigrants from Meron to show mutual responsibility and guarantee and to leave the celebration area according to the time specified on the ticket in order to allow those in line to enter. Details on how to get there by public transportation can be obtained from the Public Transportation Information Center at *8787 and the Rashbi Holiday Information Line at 03-5098000. The sale will begin this morning, Sunday, May 8, 22.
