Following the conclusions of the investigative committee that a single lighting ceremony would be held on Mount Meron, several Hasidic courtyards announced that they will hold the 'tishim' this year at the 'Hasidic Complex A' (Fishman Zelikowitz Complex), which covers 8 dunams and is located near the terminal - which will allow participants to reach the complex easily.
Last night, the festival's supervisor, Lieutenant General (retired) Zviki Tesler, sent a letter to representatives of the Hasidim in which he noted that although private events are not under his responsibility, he is willing to make every effort to assist them in locating areas for holding 'tishim' or to work to regulate the premises, subject to the approval of the festival's safety advisors.
In recent days, several meetings of Hasidic representatives were held with the participation of the project manager, in order to ensure that the events will be conducted in the safest manner possible and without risk to human life.
In the 'Hasidiot Complex A' (Fishman Zelikowitz), Lag BaOmer events are expected to be held, including the Hasidic history of Abraham Isaac, the influential Rabbi Elimelech Biderman, Yeshiva Oraita, and more.
In the huge area, the Hasidic producers will set up a stage for the rebbes and rabbis, and next to it a special stage for the orchestra that will entertain the event.
In addition to the private events that will be held at the Hasidim A complex, public events will be held in Meron - the central lighting ceremony led by the Rebbe of Bayan, and a memorial service for the 45 people killed in the disaster that occurred last year.
In addition, additional events are expected to take place throughout the moshav: Rabbi Rafael Abuhatzeira will set his table as he does every year in the Beit Midrash, and Kabbalist Rabbi Benyahu Shmueli, head of the Neher Shalom Kabbalist Yeshiva, will hold the annual gathering in the tent set up in Meron every year.
