Due to the long journey, drivers take a short break on Route 6. A passenger got off to use the restroom, when the bus driver asked to return at 2:30 PM. Hardly any of the bus passengers got off except her. When the passenger returned a few minutes before the time the driver had set, she discovered to her astonishment: the driver had driven away with her belongings and left her at the gas station, unable to continue the journey, all just hours before the start of Shabbat. She waited for about an hour at the gas station, until another company bus arrived. She boarded it and continued toward the settlement of Meron, where the driver who had run away handed her her belongings, saying: "Sorry, ma'am. You weren't exactly on time - so I drove." Her daughter, Eti Katzburg, said in a conversation with Haredim 10: "Standing in front of a company like that and chasing the driver is a catastrophe, and because another driver picked her up, everyone will blame the other. It is absolutely important that such a driver does not continue to serve. "The driver told her: I said to arrive at 2:30 PM and you did not arrive, and she was there on time. The driver does not take into account that there is an elderly woman, who has no idea how she will travel, while her things are on the bus. This is a crazy, irresponsible thing - and the way he spoke to her is something he would not do." Haredim 10 contacted the spokeswoman for 'Nativ Express' several times, but so far no response has been received. We will publish the response when it is received.
