IDF and Border Guard forces demolished the floor where terrorist Mahmoud Jaradat lived in the village of 'Silat a Khartiya'. During the operation, an engineering soldier was moderately injured as a result of a wall collapse. He was taken to the hospital in full consciousness for medical treatment. With the entry of the forces, violent riots began to develop in several locations, with the participation of hundreds of Palestinians. The rioters threw stones, Molotov cocktails and improvised explosive devices at the forces, who used riot dispersal and shooting methods. During and after the riots, gunmen fired live ammunition at the forces, who returned fire at gunmen identified in the area. The demolition was carried out in accordance with an order from the commander of the Central Command, after the terrorist's family's petition to the High Court of Justice to cancel the order was rejected on Wednesday, February 1. Demolition orders were also signed in the case of two additional terrorists, Muhammad and Jit Jaradat. Petitions were also filed with the High Court of Justice against these orders. The military prosecution filed indictments against the terrorists with the military court.
