Without zoom and 70% are vaccinated in class: The Ministries of Health and Education announced this evening (Thursday) a new education outline that will go into effect on Sunday.
Did you divide? For thousands of years we dreamed of Jerusalem, so now we want to dirty it?
On Saturday: The mother rested, the child pulled the trigger – and was hospitalized in serious condition
Are you crazy? Is your child unprotected? One in every 150 children who contracted the virus was hospitalized
According to the outline, school and kindergarten students will continue to study physically in schools, with the traffic light system being discontinued. In addition, the restriction on 70% vaccinated children in the classroom will be lifted, as will the instruction to reduce contact. Meanwhile, in the event of exposure to a confirmed patient, educational institutions will operate in accordance with the testing and isolation outline implemented throughout the economy. In light of this, in the event that a confirmed case is discovered in the classroom (student or teacher), the classroom will operate as follows: •
Vaccinated/recovered (As defined by the Ministry of Health) A home antigen test or a supervised antigen test will be performed. If the test result is positive (in the event that a positive result is obtained from a home antigen test, a supervised antigen test will be performed) - stay in isolation for 10 days. Release only with a doctor's approval (no additional test is required). •
Not vaccinated/not recovering (According to the definition of the Ministry of Health) A supervised antigen test will be performed: Negative result - stay in isolation for 7 days. Release subject to a negative result in a supervised antigen test performed on the last day of isolation. Positive result - stay in isolation for 10 days. Release only with a doctor's approval (no additional test is required). It is important to emphasize that someone who has been vaccinated with only one vaccine is not protected and is therefore considered unvaccinated/not recovering in the event of exposure to a confirmed case - and is not exempt from isolation. It was also agreed within the framework of the new outline: • Education system employees and visitors to an educational institution will be required to present a green badge (and for education system employees - an alternative test will also be possible as has been the case until now). • The obligation to wear masks in schools will continue to apply. • Educational institutions will continue to operate in accordance with the general gathering limit in the economy. • A district physician at the Ministry of Health will be authorized to order the closure of an educational institution, in consultation with the relevant district director at the Ministry of Education. • Higher education institutions will continue to operate under a green label (except for the current expansion regarding practical training), with unvaccinated students being allowed to perform an antigen test once every 84 hours.
• School students in the Arab community will be required to undergo an antigen test upon returning from winter break (as was the case at the end of the Hanukkah break in the Jewish sector). • The Corona trustees in elementary schools will conduct antigen tests for students and teaching staff who will be exposed to the pandemic (the effective date will be announced at the beginning of the week). • A special outline for informal education activities and classes will no longer be implemented (in the event of exposure to the pandemic - the outline implemented throughout the economy will apply). • A special outline for trips with accommodation will no longer be implemented (in the event of exposure to the pandemic - the outline implemented throughout the economy will apply). • The special outline for boarding schools will be canceled (in the event of exposure to the pandemic - the outline implemented throughout the economy will apply). The new education outline will apply to all educational institutions: • All kindergartens, including kindergartens • Elementary schools • Middle schools • High schools • Institutions of higher education and vocational training • Informal education • Boarding schools
